Nick founded Ardent Pointe Capital to acquire and personally lead one business for the long term. He is currently an Equity Services Consultant at Aon, where he advises companies ranging from Fortune 250 enterprises to high-growth pre-IPO businesses on equity plan design, the valuation and financial reporting of equity awards, and one-time events such as IPOs, mergers, and acquisitions.
Before Aon, Nick was in sales at Equitybee, a marketplace that funds startup employees' stock options, where he closed roughly 30 transactions a month representing $500,000 to $1 million in monthly volume. He began his career at Legg Mason, where he was promoted from data analytics into an internal wholesaler role supporting the firm's largest territory.
Nick holds an MBA and a B.B.A. in Finance from Iona University, where he walked on to the rowing team as a freshman and was named co-captain by his senior year. He later returned to the program as a volunteer coach for several seasons.
Outside of work, Nick spends his summers working on his golf game and his falls and winters on the ice playing hockey and on the squash courts. He and his wife, Chloe, live in Metro Detroit, where they are always trying new restaurants in search of the best spots to show off to friends and family visiting from out of town.
